Fine Gael TD for Dublin Mid-West, Derek Keating, has today (Friday) welcomed the announcement by Dualway Group, a Dublin-based transport and tourism company, that it is creating 30 new jobs in 2012.

“Dualway Group has just informed me that it will be creating 30 new jobs in 2012. The company is recruiting for tour drivers, tour guides, sale promoters, sales executives and a health and safety officer.

“This is excellent news and a great boost for the Dublin jobs market. Dualway Group is a family run business which has been operating in the transport and tourism market for over 30 years in Dublin. The company is holding a recruitment open day on February 4th in the Gresham Hotel in Dublin and I am encouraging anyone who is interested in working in this field to attend.

“Last year, the company lost a third of its fleet during a fire in its depot, so I am especially pleased to see how hard the team has worked over the last 12 months to rebuild the company and be in the position it is in today to expand its team with 30 new jobs.

“It is also encouraging to see that the tourism market, which has been an important focus of this government, is thriving and that jobs are being created in this sector.

“I would like to wish Dualway Group all the success in the world as they embark on this new expansion phase of the company.”
